Waking up to the sounds of howler monkeys in the trees was a surreal experience, making me feel truly immersed in the heart of the Costa Rican jungle. the trails on-site were a haven for wildlife enthusiasts like myself. I encountered a sloth and even spotted majestic macaws during my walks around the property. the presence of knowledgeable and friendly staff further added to the exceptional experience, as they provided invaluable recommendations for local trips and activities that showcased the region's natural beauty. the cozy dining area and the swimming pool were perfect retreats after a day of exploring the rich biodiversity of the area. the staff's attention to detail, such as recommending unique excursions like the butterfly garden and green rivers kayak tour, truly set this lodge apart.
